Moving around can also prevent the hamsters from getting bored and can make them stay energetic.
Hamsters also need to be supervised. You should make sure that they do not stress themselves out in using their exercise toys and they do not get dehydrated. Hamsters should only be allowed to use their ball and wheel for a maximum of 20 minutes. After that, they should relax before they can play with the toys again.
As you can notice in movies, most hamsters love exercise wheels so you should buy one for your pet hamster. This can considered a necessity since hamsters should also need to burn some calories specifically since since they love to eat any food or thing that they can hold onto.
You could also place a tunnel maze inside the hamster cage if you have extra money to buy more accessories. This accessory comes into several sizes, color and shapes; the good thing is that it is detachable so you could create your own maze. Furthermore, you can buy extra parts individually then attach or add them to the maze.
