[ad_1]

Not many people know that dwarf Russian hamsters are one of the most common pets for enthusiasts to own. These pets are really incredible and will bring lots of joy into your life with some simple and basic dwarf hamster knowledge. If you want to have these types of pets in your home it is important to learn some facts about them and how easy they are to care for. In this article I am going to discuss the three types including winter white, Campbell, and roborovski dwarf hamster.

Winter White Species

This type of dwarf Russian hamsters can be much more difficult to find compared to the other species in this group. These pets have a natural ability of changing all their fur into a pure white color to blend into their normal environment. It also allows them to not be food for many types of predators that love to eat these adorable creatures. If you are planning on owning one of these animals you should not look forward to them changing their fur because they are living in captivity. They only change their color when they are in their natural habitat. When these animals are not in their camouflage state they are usually dark gray along with a dark dorsal stripe down the back side that goes from head to tail.

Campbell dwarf hamster

These dwarf Russian hamsters are the most common out of all other types of dwarf hamsters. These pets can be found in almost any pet store in your neighborhood. If you take a trip to a pet store this would be the most common type that you would see here. They are often referred to Dzungarian hamsters because they are found in a region called Dzungaria. Because of the advances in science and breeding you can find these pets in basically any color that you would like. Although they can vary in color the natural form is usually brownish-gray. The underside of these pets have a very white or creamy color also with a stripe down its back as well. These dwarf Russian hamsters are also very friendly and make them the best type of pet to own and take care of.

Roborovski

These dwarf Russian hamsters are the smallest type of these species and can be quite fun to have as a pet. Like all other dwarf hamsters these creatures are more active than others because of their small size they run around much more than their close relatives. That's why it is important to place a wheel inside of their cage to keep them busy and allow them to exercise. Their fur is usually a tan color or sometimes a light brown. The stomach and the marks around their eyes are most likely to be white. The great thing about these dwarf Russian hamsters is that they are very social among relatives of the heads and can be kept with other types of these pets as well if you wanted more than one.

Here is some basic information that you can use to determine if the dwarf Russian hamsters are right for you to own.
