Nowadays it is common to meet or are related to someone who has had a heart attack or heart problems. Unfortunately the media and other sources often misinform people about how to prevent these issues. However, I have some simple tips to prevent heart problems and how to live a more healthy, safe, and longer life. I hope these tips help you or a loved one.
Use the following 5 tips to get you started on a heart healthy plan:
1. Stop smoking! Smoking is one of the largest risk factors in heart disease, so stop smoking and you will increase the lifespan and health of your heart (and your lungs)
2. Exercise. You do not need to find an extravagant exercise program to get into shape. Even taking a walk every day can get you into shape. It will help your heart and strengthen your muscles so you will be looking and feeling great.
3. Relax. Stress can really hurt your heart condition. That being said do not stress out about little things and try to keep relaxed in stressful situations. Try to find a hobby that can help you to relieve stress and calm yourself down.
4. Do not stop eating fats. I know this might seem moronic at first glance but the truth is that not eating any fats can sometimes worsen your condition. Instead of eating fats in things like french fries, donuts, etc, eat fats in things like eggs or nuts. Your body needs some fats to function properly.
