This hamster has a swollen right hind leg and a large lower belly wart of 4mm x 5 mm.
The hamster licked the large wart which became wet and red. The cut skin of the right hind leg was due to sharp edges, likely an exercise wheel.
The 7-year-old son is active in participation of the consultation. He missed his hamster very much as the was warded for more than 6 days for antibiotic treatment of the belly wart before surgery to excise this irritating inflamed ulcerated skin growth.
