Change Your Diet

[ad_1]

By some estimates up to 90% of all disease result from taking wrong foods, and 80-85 percent of illnesses can be cured simply by changing diet.

It is difficult to believe it – we take so many drugs to get rid of ailments – but the fact is a stubborn thing. Proper nutrition gives amazing results, but it often involves breaking of entrenched traditions. Since childhood we get used to certain foods, and it is sometimes difficult to change old habits, even being perfectly aware of “the better way”.

What food is best for man? Isn’t it meat?

Yes, it is the most popular product. Meat contains all necessary elements. You can live on flesh alone. Some northern peoples live this way. The whole issue is quality of life. There are very few long-lived among these peoples. It is one thing – to survive, and another – to live a long and healthy life. It is recognized that an excess of animal food affects health, leading to premature wearing out of internal organs and accumulation of genetic errors. The organism rapidly ages. There is a definite link between meat-eating and gout, arthritis, rheumatism etc.

The widespread opinion “no meat – no strength” is a prejudice. In Indian weightlifting team half of the athletes are vegetarians. The famous heavyweight Russian wrestler Ivan Poddubny was a vegetarian.

And what about martial artists from the legendary Shaolin? They can hardly be called weak. Their age-old diet consists of vegetables, grains, numerous grasses and roots. The Charter prescribes Shaolin inmates complete abandonment of animal food.

Among nations, eating no or little meat, the percentage of cancer is very low. Vegetarians are 90-97 per cent less prone to cardiovascular disease.

So, taking to vegetarian diet isn’t that bad after all, and can improve your health considerably.
